LAHORE – A new Lahore Master Plan is on cards by PTI government.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Urban Unit have formed 16 jointteams for preparation of a new Lahore Master Plan and coordinatedcommercialization policy to control illegal constructions in the areasunder LDA control.
According to LDA spokesman, a new survey has been launched withthe cooperation of Urban Unit for preparation of new ‘Lahore Master Plan’as the current city plan will expire in 2021.

He said the area under LDA control has now been extended to the wholeLahore division and changes in construction rules and regulations are needof the hour to meet the new challenges.
