KABUL: In Afghanistan, 20 militants were killed following a government forces operation in Nangarhar province.
A statement of provincial government said Personnel of the National Directorate of Security launched an operation, on Thursday night, killing up to 20 fighters, including some of their local commanders in Achin district.
It said five of the militants’ training and equipment centers were also destroyed during the operation.
