Dr Habib ur Rehman appointed as Chairman PITB

LAHORE – Punjab government has appointed Dr Habeeb-ur-Rehman Gillani asPunjab Information Technology Board (PITB) chairman on Friday.

Rehman who serve as chairman Planning and Development has formally takenadditional charge of the PITB from Dr Umar Saif.

Habeeb-ur-Rehman Gillani, was appointed as chairman of the Planning andDevelopment Department, Punjab by the previous caretaker government.

Rehman is a grade 21 Civil Servant having more than 25 years of exposure inPakistan’s Administrative Services (PAS) while serving in differentgovernment’s departments at critical positions.

Earlier, this week PTI’s led provincial government had removed Dr Umar Saiflinkthe chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
