KARACHI: A survey report showed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’sgovernment had until now gained good public support.
“49 percent Pakistanis opine that the current government’s performance isbetter than the previous government’s performance,” said a Gilani ResearchFoundation survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan.
“A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the fourprovinces was asked ‘Some people think that PTI’s performance until now hasbeen better than the previous government while others think that it isworse. What do you think about this?’
“In response to this question, 49% said it is better, 27% it is worse, 18%said there is no difference amongst the two, while 6% did not know orrespond to the question,” said the report while revealing mechanism of thesurvey.
This survey was carried out among a sample of 1550 men and women in ruraland urban areas of all four provinces of the country, between August 27 andSeptember 03, 2018. Error margin is estimated to be about ± 2-3 per cent at95% confidence level.
