LAHORE – A big broad daylight Dacoity of over Rs 1 crore has been reportedin Lahore.

Dacoity on Wednesday looted local and foreign currencies worth Rs15 millionfrom two staffers of moneychanger in broad daylight in Civil Lines area ofLahore.

The robbery occurred on Lawrence Road.

As per details garnered, two employees, Faisal and Ayaz, of hapless moneychanger Naeem were travelling in mini-van along with PKR 3.1 million and71000 British Pounds.

The robbers—who were chasing them—halted the van on gun point and lootedthe currency. The robbers also fired bullets at van but fortunately no onewas injured.
