LAHORE – The Lahore High Court has given verdict in the treason petitionagainst TLP Chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi.

LHC on Monday dismissed petitions against Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan chiefKhadim Hussain Rizvi and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief MaulanaFazlur Rehman.

The petitioner had sought proceedings of treason against the two leadersfor ‘issuing anti-state remarks’.

LHC bench headed by Justice Atir Mehmood heard the petition. On theoccasion, he apprised the petitioner that the government has initiateda crackdown against those involved in vandalism.
