ISLAMABAD – The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a smuggling attempt atthe Islamabad Airport after it recovered heroin from two female passengers.
According to sources, the drugs were recovered by the ASF during ascheduled inspection of the female passengers leaving for Saudi Arabia.
The women, identified as Shamim Bibi and Asma Riasat, were each carrying 40capsules loaded with heroin. The women were scheduled to board a privateairline and they were going for Umrah.
The sources further said both female passengers belonged to Abbottabad.
