ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has to repay $1.7 billion on account of foreign debtrepayments till December this year, official data showed on Friday.
The data gathered from different ministries showed that the country needsto make debt servicing of more than $1.7 billion in shape of principal andmarkup on outstanding foreign loans during the current second quarter.
The country’s total foreign debt payment obligations, during the currentfiscal year of 2018/19, are estimated at nine billion dollars.
