KARACHI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has assuredto safeguard the frontiers of the country.
COAS on Wednesday visited forward troops in Gadra Sector in Sindh andcommended operational preparedness and high state of morale of the troops.
During the visit, the army chief said that Pakistan Army is fully committedto guard the frontiers of country. Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz,Commander Karachi Corps also accompanied him.
Later, COAS visited Thar Coal Project. He was given detailed briefing onthe progress of the pilot projects.

Talking on the occasion, he said that internal security situation ofPakistan has largely improved paving way for foreign investment.
We will continue to play our part in ensuring secure environment forbusiness and entrepreneurship in Pakistan by both local and foreigninvestors, he added.
