ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday has given verdict over theissue of entry of heavy motorbikes on Motorway.
IHC refused to issue an stay order against a single member bench’s decisionto allow entry of 500CC heavy motorbikes into motorways.
A division bench of the IHC headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard anappeal filed against the decision of a single member bench to allow plyingof heavy motorbikes on motorways.
The National Motorways and Highways Police have challenged the decisionthrough an intra-court appeal.
