LAHORE – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar sets a newprecedence in the judicial history of Pakistan.
CJP is hearing public interest cases for the first time in evening today(Saturday).
The cases are being heard at Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry by atwo-member bench.
Earlier in November, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Anwarul Haqinaugurated the country’s first evening court in Lahore to deal with familyand minors’ custody cases.

The evening court is hearing cases under the West Pakistan Family CourtsAct 1964 and Guardians & Wards Act 1890 from 2pm to 7pm in winters and 4pmto 8pm. in summers.
