LAHORE – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Saturday has filed yet anotherplea in the Lahore High Court.
PAT filed a plea in Lahore High Court (LHC) demanding Punjab government toissue notification regarding formation of new joint investigation team(JIT) to probe Model Town carnage.
On December 5, Supreme Court (SC) had disposed of PAT’s plea and directedthe provincial government to reconstitute the team to investigate ModelTown massacre.
During the proceedings, PAT chief broke into tears and said that thevictims of Model Town incident were waiting for the justice from past fouryears. The previous JIT was formed without taking us into confidence, headded.
