ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary FawadHussain has strongly rejected reports being spread about the FinanceMinister, saying Prime Minister Imran Khan has full confidence in thecapabilities of Asad Umer.
In a statement, he said the purpose of negative and baseless propagandaagainst the Finance Minister is aimed at destablizing the economy which isnow on the path of stabilization.
Fawad Chaudhary said the finance minister is discharging the national dutywith full devotion and bringing in use the best of his capabilities.
He said the professional capabilities of Asad Umer have played an importantrole in stabilizing the economy.
The Information Minister pointed out that investment and exports arewitnessing an upward trend while imports are decreasing. He saidremittances has also shown an upward trend.
