TEHRAN – The second conference on the challenges of confronting terrorismand strengthening inter-regional ties will be held on December seventh inthe Iranian capital, Tehran.

Parliament speakers of six countries including that of Pakistan will attendthe event.

Asad Qaiser speaker of the national assembly of Pakistan who chaired thefirst round of the conference will cede the presidency of the conference toAli Larijani Iran’s parliament (Majlis) speaker.

In the first round of the conference which took place last year inIslamabad the parliament speakers of Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, China, Russiaand Afghanistan decided to enhance regional counter-terrorism cooperation.
