25 Sweet Homes to be built across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal has spent 731 million rupees on providingscholarships to deserving students, medical treatment to the deserving andproviding equipment to the handicap in first 100 days of the incumbentgovernment.

According to a PBM spokesman, scholarships amounting to 15,774,456 rupeeswere given to 542 deserving university students while financial assistanceof 1,749,000 rupees was provided to 55 deserving families in last 100 days.

He said Baitul Mal provided treatment facilities to 7,622 patientssuffering from cancer, thalassemia, hepatitis, kidney, heart and otherfatal diseases.

Meanwhile, Baitul Mal plans to establish 25 more Pakistan Sweet Homes indifferent areas of the country.

Likewise, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal plans to allocate sufficient budget toprovincial level instead of keeping in at central level.
