KABUL – In Afghanistan, 29 Taliban including top commander Mullah AbdulManan have been killed in Helmand province in US drone strike.
According to the provincial governor Mohammad Yasin Khan, Abdul Manan, whowas the provincial commander of the Taliban, was meeting local commandersand fighters in the Nawzad district when the strike took place.
His death was confirmed by Taliban members in Helmand and neighboringKandahar province.
