ISLAMABAD – China has hinted at fresh investment in the CPEC projects withbroadening of the mega project as envisaged during PM Imran Khan andPresident Xi Jinping meeting in Beijing.

Chinese Consul-General Long Dingbin says China plans phenomenal investmentsin fresh projects, broadening the area of inclusive cooperation and tappingnew avenues of collaboration under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

In an interview to a private tv channel, he said China would channelizemaximum resources to strengthen economy of Pakistan.

To a question, the Consul-General explained that during Prime MinisterKhan’s recent visit to China, the scope of investment was widened by inkingfifteen new agreements.

Long Dingbin said the communique issued during Prime Minister’s visit toChina is a guideline to comprehend new dimensions of strategic partnershipand friendship between both the countries.
