A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has rocked the US state of Alaska.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the epicenter was about eight miles north of Alaska’s largest city Anchorage.
In a statement, Anchorage’s police department spokesman said many homes and buildings are damaged while many roads and bridges are closed in the city.
