ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says economic diplomacyis among the key priorities of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

He was talking to Chairman Board of Investment Haroon Sharif who called onhim in Islamabad on Friday.

During the meeting, existing opportunities of investment in various sectorsof national economy and the positive trend of foreign investment inPakistan came under discussion.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the trend of foreign investment into the countryis rising. He said during the meetings held in our visits abroad theforeign investors also expressed deep interest in investing in Pakistan.

He added that many renowned and large international companies aresuccessfully doing their businesses in Pakistan, which is a testimony oftrust on the policies of our government.

Chairman Board of Investment said Pakistan is providing complete legal andconstitutional protection to foreign investment and there is no bar ontransferring the profits earned.
