A documentary was shown to the people at the event. Addressing the event,Religious Affairs Minister Dr Noorul Haq Qadri congratulated everyone onbeing present on such a historic occasion. He said Pakistan is entering anew phase of peace, adding that Naya Pakistan is safe for all people. Hesaid they will make this into a state-of-the-art gurdwara.
The 4km-long corridor will connect Dera Baba Nanak in India’s Gurdaspurdistrict with Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. The corridor willprovide Indian Sikh pilgrims visa-free access to the shrine.
