*ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Mr. Justice AnwarKhan Kasi will retire on Tuesday (today) after attaining the age ofsuperannuation.*
Justice Athar Minallah will be the next Chief Justice of Islamabad HighCourt.
The judges strength in IHC goes down to four after retirement of ChiefJustice Anwar Kasi.
Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi did his graduation from the University ofBaluchistan in 1978 and received his Master’s degree in Economics in 1stDivision and LLB from the same university in 1980-81. After practicing lawas an advocate for four years, he joined the judicial service ofBaluchistan as a Civil Judge in May, 1986.
