ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi chaired a brainstormingsession with the former senior Foreign Service officers for an exchange onPakistan’s foreign policy issues in Islamabad on Monday.
The session was attended by Foreign Secretary and senior officials of theMinistry.
A frank and candid discussion was held on Pakistan’s relations with keycountries.
Many valuable inputs and suggestions were made by the participants whobring a wealth of experience in the foreign policy domain.

It was highlighted that Pakistan should pursue a proactive foreign policyto present Pakistan’s perspective on national, regional and global issues.
Foreign Minister emphasized that such interactions are useful and would becontinued in future for informed policy input to the leadership.
