ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister announced various welfare packages in the fieldsof health, education, employment and administration for the newlyestablished districts of erstwhile FATA.
PM announced 3 % of NFC share by all provinces for merged districts, earlyconduct of Local Bodies and Provincial Elections to ensure transfer ofpower to grass root level.
He also announced Police Reforms and resolved to address all concerns ofLevies and Khasadars by ensuring their jobs security. The Prime Ministerannounced system of Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) to ensure speedyjustice and resolution of all issues through consultation.
Imran Khan announced Medical College along with Hospital for NorthWaziristan District and South Waziristan District, University for NorthWaziristan District, Army Cadet College for North Waziristan District,health Insurance Cards to residents of merged districts, tele-medics systemto fulfill deficiencies of specialist doctors.
He also announced mega share from jobs for merged districts as offered byQatar, enrolment in Police and Frontier Corps, special quota for underdeveloped regions, restoration of cellular service in North WaziristanDistrict and South Waziristan District, loan for house building, effort toaddress issue of load-shedding, NADRA facilitation to ensure speedy CNICprocess and solar panels for mosques. PM announced provision ofinterest-free loans, provision of computers and development of sportsgrounds.
He said a new Pakistan is in the making.
