PTI government decides to slash foreign cargo ships fare amounting to 4.2 billions annually

*KARACHI – PTI government has decided to slash the foreign cargo ship faresamounting to $4.2 billion annually.*

*As per media report, Federal Minister for Maritime affairs, Ali Zaidi onThursday vowed to slash existing cargo fare of 4.2 billion dollars beingpaid by Pakistan to foreign ships.*

Addressing the passing out parade of Pakistan Marine Academy cadets inKarachi, Ali Zaidi said that the government last year paid 4.2 billiondollars to foreign cargo ships and present government is working to cutdown this amount.

“We people of Pakistan are responsible for present state of affairs of thecountry but now, we will bring it to its right place,” he said.

The minister while advising the cadets asked them to add the spirit intheir efforts if they want to achieve something in the world.

Zaidi said that 20 years ago when he met Imran Khan he found that spirit inhim. He didn’t compromise on his vision through the years. “Those whoconcede defeat lose their battles, those who don’t, won’t be defeated, theminister said.

The countries that have 1080 kilometers long coastline don’t borrow, theylend money to others, the minister further said.
