KARACHI – The security guard of slain Ali Raza Abidi on Wednesday has madestunning revelations about the murder incident.
He recorded his statement and said that he was unable to load the gundespite several attempts when firing incident happened outside the MQMleader’s house on Tuesday night.
According to the video recorded statement by the guard to police, herevealed that he was appointed as a security guard at Bungalow of Ali RazaAbidi some 55 days ago and he was appointed on the duty from 7pm to 7am.
Describing the details of firing incident, he said that when he opened thedoor of the bungalow on arrival of Ali Raza Abidi, he had the gun in hisone hand. Suddenly, he heard a voice of firing when he opened a one side ofdoor.
During the recording of his statement, he said that he tried to load hisgun but failed to do so after several attempts, the bullet was not loadedin the chamber.

He described that after few moments later of the attack, Ali Raza Abidi waslying on the seat of his vehicle after being hit by several bullets.
“Neither company nor Ali Raza Abidi asked me to check the working of thegun at least ones, since assuming his duty,” the guard said in hisstatement.
It is pertinent to mention here that the security agencies have beenunveiled due to this incident. The attacker shot dead Ali Raza Abdi inpresence of the armed security guard. The question raised that If thesecurity guard was trained then may be Abdi was not killed by the attackers.
