ISLAMABAD: Khazeena Dam being constructed at the cost of Rs288.683 millionis scheduled to be completed on April 24, 2020, as per the approved PC-1 ofthe project, an official of the Water Division told APP here on Wednesday.
He said that Khazeena dam was being constructed on the Loe Lahara River ofSolan Dargi, district Musakhel with a water storage capacity of 4,000acre-feet.
He said that the primary objective of Khazeena Dam was to provide water tothe irrigated cultivable area of 4,800 acres as well as flood protection ofdownstream areas, ensuring water supply to lower riparian nearby Musakhel.

He further told that the government of Balochistan has also awarded thetender of a 10km road from Musakhel to Khazeena Dam.
