The project ‘Creating Databases for Quranic Interpretations’ has beenestablished with the cooperation of four universities of Goethe, Frankfurtam Main, Gisen and Hamburg.

While most of the research on the Quran has been done so far in writing, the plan seeks to provide a digital version of it.

The verbal, legal, linguistic, lexical, phonetic, grammatical, andintertextual variables will be involved in the implementation of this plan.

In this way, new information about the history, source of Islam and alsoQuranic interpretations will be made available online to everyone. Alongwith the information contained in narratives, this online database willalso provide them with documents.
