ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Railways would launch a mobile-based application tofacilitate a large number of customers by providing them information abouttimings and location of the train besides enabling them to get ticketsonline.
IT Expert said trackers would be installed in all the locomotive that wouldupdate the customers about locations, upcoming stations and even the speedof their train.
Hussain said on the experimental basis, the trackers were installed in fewtrains to measure the app’s performance and the results was 100 percent.
Mudassar Hussain added this mobile application was much better, faster andadvance to get information as compared to previous system of inquirythrough 117.

“I would like to gift this mobile application to Prime Minister Imran Khanand would not take a single rupee from the government for developing thisapp,” he announced.
The expert said all the profit of this mobile application received throughadvertisement would go to the Pakistan Railways which would manage and runthis application.
