ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed Tuesday saidprocess had been started for the looters of the country to bear the bruntof their deeds stressing that all the robbers and thieves have been broughtto book.
After visiting and paying his respect at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-AzamMuhammad Ali Jinnah, on his 143nd birthday anniversary he said,unfortunately in past thieves remained watchmen of the country.
Talking to media the Minister said, those who stole money from the pocketsof the entire nation were being billed gentry.
He predicted that the “remaining thieves” would go to jail before March 30,adding that Pakistan People Party (PPP) leaders, including formeropposition leader Khursheed Shah would be held in near future.
Replying to a query, he said Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) BilawalBhutto-Zardari may bear the brunt of his father’s politics.
Responding to another question about decision of the accountability courtin Al-Azizia reference, he said that he was jailed for seven years in aweapons case, but Nawaz Sharif was handed mere seven years in jail despitethat he had looted the entire nation’s wealth.
Those who have plundered the country’s wealth would meet a sticky end, headded.
