ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has responded over the verdictagainst Nawaz Sharif.
PM Khan on Monday said the truth has come out with the verdict. Sharif, thePML-N supremo and three-time prime minister of Pakistan, was arrested afterhe was found guilty in the National Accountability Court (NAB) referenceearlier today. The court, however, acquitted him in the Flagship referencebut imposed a fine of Rs1.5 billion. His sons, Hassan and Hussain, weredeclared absconders.
Chairing a consultative meeting of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI), called in the wake of today’s verdict, PM Imran said the previousrulers only looted the nation’s wealth after coming into power. The truthhas come out with the verdict against Nawaz Sharif.
