LAHORE – The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan will hear several importantcase today in Lahore.
SC will hear fake account case on Monday in SC Lahore Registry.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of PakistanMian Saqib Nisar will hear the important case today.
Two-member bench headed by the chief justice would hear long-running thefake account case. Justice Ijazul Haq will also be part of the bench. Thecase will be heard at the apex court’s Lahore registry.
On the other sides, the court would also hear the cases related to Khokharbrothers and journalist’s murder case.
It is pertinent to mention here that the joint investigation team (JIT) hassubmitted the final report included in volume 8 of the fake accounts caseto the Supreme Court Lahore Registry. The hearing will be heard on December24.

On Friday, the banking court in Karachi has extended the interim bail offormer president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till January7 in the money laundering scam.
Zardari and Faryal Talpur appeared before banking court. The judge grantedan extension in the PPP leaders’ bail until Jan 7. When Zardari reached atthe banking court, he was seen nervous and worried but after extension inbail he was smiling.
During the hearing, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officialsadopted a stance before court that the JIT report related to the fakeaccounts and money laundering was submitted in the Supreme Court. It alsosaid that they are waiting for the decision of the apex court on the case.
