ISLAMABAD – Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has said that thebill to protect the rights of people with disabilities has been approved bycabinet which would be tabled in the Parliament in its next session.
In a statement, she said the issue of harassment faced by women withdisabilities was a global issue. She said social mindset could be changedthrough awareness and Ministry of Human Rights was also working to createawareness among people about laws regarding people with disabilities.
