ISLAMABAD — Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information andBroadcasting Senator Faisal Javed Tuesday informed the House that the fundset up to raise money for constructing Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams hasreached to Rs 9 billion mark.
Speaking in the Senate, he said that in the next five years, 10 billionsamplings would be planted across the country.
Pakistan, he said, has the water storage capacity of only one month, whichshould be four months as per the international standards. He said about 90percent water being wasted in the country.
