Explosion at a bar in Japan, at least 42 people injured

TOKYO – At least 42 people were left injured with one in a precariouscondition in an explosion at a bar in Sapporo in northern Japan, on Sunday.

The reason behind the blast is still unknown but the explosion caused anumber of buildings to collapse; some say it was a gas blast.

Eyewitnesses reported smelling gas in the area after the explosion, whichhappened at 8.30 p.m. (1130 GMT).View image on Twitterlink[image: View image on Twitter]link
