ISLAMABAD – In a statement, Foreign Office strongly condemned the horrificbloodbath in Indian occupied Kashmir by Indian occupation force.
It said the recent killing spree by Indian forces has resulted in themartyrdom of fourteen innocent Kashmiris and injuries to hundreds others.
The Foreign Office said India continues to use vicious tactics tointimidate, disrespect and silence the Kashmiris and their struggle toachieve their just right to self determination.
It said India continues to ignore the legitimate demands for internationalprobe into gross and systematic human rights violations, including use ofpellet guns, excessive use of force, arbitrary arrest and detentions andcontinued sexual violence, as a part of overall impunity enjoyed by theIndian forces.
The Foreign Office said despite hollow Indian claims, Jammu and Kashmir isan internationally recognized dispute, pending on the agenda of the UNSecurity Council. It said the dissociation of India from reality isalarming more for India itself.
The statement said India also continues to launch a volley of attacks alongthe Line of Control in which innocent civilians are being killed and maimedin order to deflect international attention from the Occupied Kashmir.
It said 1.5 billion people of this region have been deprived of peace andprosperity for the last seventy years by India, as it backed off fromimplementing the promises it made with the people of Jammu and Kashmir andwith the international community.
