ISLAMABAD – Former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif assignment as commanderof Islamic Military Alliance lands in danger after Supreme Court verdict.
The Supreme Court has ruled that the foreign employment of former armychief General (R) Raheel Sharif shall cease with immediate effect if he isnot granted a no-objection certificate by the federal cabinet within onemonth.
Supreme Court said that according to the law laid down by the court, onlyfederal cabinet can grant permission to an ex-government servant to seek ortake up employment as an officer or servant of a foreign government.
