ISLAMABAD – A week-long winter festival of Chitramas started in threeKalash valleys of Bumburate, Birir and Rumbur in Chitral on Saturday.
Chitramas also known as Choimus is among the three annually held eventscelebrated by Kalash.
Different unique cultural festivals are part of the main carnival includingslaughter of sacrificial goats, traditional dance and making effigies ofdifferent animals with wheat flour.
