Supreme Court places two PML N MNAs on Exit Control List

LAHORE – The Supreme Court on Saturday has lashed out at two PML N Membersof National Assembly in a case of illegal construction.

SC directed the Ministry of Interior to place the names of Pakistan MuslimLeague Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Afzal Khokhar and MPA Saiful Malook on the ExitControl List (ECL).

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, who headed a bench of the apexcourt, gave this direction while hearing a case pertaining to illegalconstruction.

The bench summoned details of the assets of both the PML-N leaders anddirected the authorities to raze illegal structures erected by them.

Afzal Khokhar said the properties they owned were legal and constructed asper maps.

At this, the chief justice remarked he was well aware of such maps, addingthat he can order their cancellation.

“You are endangering your membership of the National Assembly by telling alie,” he warned the MNA and added: “We have to get rid of theseencroachments.”
