Pakistan China and Afghanistan ink a counter terrorism accord

KABUL – Pakistan, China and Afghanistan have inked a historic counterterrorism pact to jointly fight the menace of terrorism.

As per media report, three states signed an anti-terrorism cooperationMemorandum of Understanding on Saturday during the ongoing secondtrilateral ministerial dialogue in Kabul.

The second round of Pakistan-Afghanistan-China trilateral dialogue is beingheld in Kabul to discuss peace as well as economic and counter-terrorismcooperation.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi who is leading the Pakistanidelegationat the dialogue signed the document along with Chinese ForeignMinister Yang Yi and their Afghan counterpart Salahuddin Rabbani.

The signing was witnessed by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
