ISLAMABAD – Responding to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s statement thatIndian government was unresponsive to his peace overtures, Ministry ofexternal affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar has blamed Pakistan for delayin peace talks, saying that it is not serious for negotiation.
At a foreign ministry briefing in New Delhi, the spokesman said, I don’tunderstand these statements.
Even before Imran Khan became Prime Minister, our Prime Minister had calledand congratulated him on his election win. Prime Minister Narendra Modi andexternal affairs minister Sushma Swaraj also wrote to their counterpartsand congratulated them after they assumed office.
