ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information Technology, Khalid Maqbool Siddiquihas said that special attention is being given to improve InformationTechnology sector for economic development of the country.

Addressing a ceremony at Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce andIndustry in Karachi today (Friday), he stressed the need for spreadingbroadband system from Gawadar to Peshawar.

The Minister said that talks with different countries are underway forestablishment of IT City in the country besides E-Commerce and E-governance.
