QUETTA – An earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan, media has reported.
Kalat and its adjoining areas in Balochistan province in the were jolted onThursday.
The magnitude of the quake was recorded at 3.8 on the Richter scale.
According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicenterof the quake which struck on Thursday was located 30 kilometres south ofKalat.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses fromthe Holy Quran. However, there are no immediate reports of casualties ordamages due to earthquake.
