Pakistan Army has become battle hardened because of combat operations against terrorism: COAS

BAHAWALPUR – Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa says Pakistan is a peaceloving country and is looking forward to peace in accordance with thevision of the father of the nation.

He expressed these remarks while interacting with officers and troopsduring his visit to formations of Bahawalpur Corps in their wintercollective training.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said a well equipped, well-trained andprofessionally competent army deters war and guarantees peace.

Army Chief said Pakistan Army is one such force which has become battlehardened through its combat experience against terrorism.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated high morale of the troops. Heexpressed satisfaction on high standards of training and operationalpreparedness of Pakistani troops.

The Army Chief also witnessed maneuvering of mechanized formation as partof Defensive Corps’ operations against conventional threat.

Later, he also visited position of an infantry formation in Fort AbbasSector along Eastern Border.
