KABUL – A bomb blast has been reported in the Afghanistan provincialcapital Khost province.
Two people lost their lives and more than 20 others sustained injuries inan explosion in southeastern Khost province of Afghanistan, Khaama Presshas reported.
According to the local officials, the incident took place at around noontime in the provincial capital of the province.
Gul Habib Shah, provincial public health director of Khost has confirmedthat all those killed or wounded are ordinary civilians.
In the meantime, the local security and government officials are sayingthat the incident took place after a motorcycle laden with explosives wasdetonated in a busy part of the city.

The officials further added that 25 people have sustained injuries in theexplosion and two others have died.
No individual or group including Taliban militants has so far claimedresponsibility behind the incident.
