German envoy seems to be in love with Pakistani traditional sweet Doodh Jalebi

ISLAMABAD – German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler seems to be in lovewith Pakistani traditional sweet.

He on Sunday took a tour to the capital city to explore Pakistani foods andsweets items, particularly the local delicacy jalebi.

In a tweet on his social media account said: “Had this delicious sweetjalebi on a winter day. Local Pakistani food is just amazing,” the envoysaid in a tweet and asked: “Should I also try jalebi dipped in milk?”link[image: View image on Twitter]link:View image on Twitter]link

Doodh jalebi is one of the famous delicacies of the country to try in thewinter season as people flock to sweet shops to treat themselves to hotbowls of jalebi soaked in milk.

Since his appointment, the 65-year-old diplomat has been to different partsof the South Asian country where he mingled with locals, visited localeateries, stopped to buy things from food vendors and traveled in a train.
