LAHORE – Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturdaytook suo motu notice over excessive payments made to Independent PowerProducers (IPPs) in connection with circular debt.
The Chief Justice issued notices to ten IPPs and sought report within threedays.
The Chief Justice took the notice while hearing different cases at theSupreme Court Lahore Registry.
