KARACHI – Around 80 couples are expected to tie the knot at the 11th AnnualMass Weddings Ceremony organized by Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) at RailwayGround on Sunday.
Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council and Member of National AssemblyDr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani announced this in a statement on Friday.
He said that this year’s annual combined marriages ceremony wouldfacilitate about 80 Hindu couples to enter the wedlock in a colorfulcultural ceremony.
He said that many prominent dignitaries, belonging to different walks oflife, were also invited to bless the couples.
The PHC, on the occasion, would also provide financial support to thenewly-wed couples so that they could start their matrimonial life withhonor and dignity.
Dr Ramesh Vankwani said that such combined marriages ceremonies would alsoplay pivotal role for projecting the positive image of Pakistan atinternational level.
