Indian agencies launched campaign to malign Kashmir freedom movement

SRINAGAR – Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani hassaid that India is continuing with its both physical and psychologicalonslaught on the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement in Srinagar on Wednesday, he also condemned the criminalassault by a Hindu mob on the shopkeepers in Indian city of Shimla.

Senior APHC leader and the Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir,Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement, said that anti-movement agencieswere using disgruntled elements to carry out uninvited acts to malign theKashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement.

He pointed out that the desecration of historical Jamia Masjid Srinagar bysome miscreants on last Friday was a part of the agencies’ plan to changethe basic nature and character of the ongoing freedom movement.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested dozens of youth during crackdownoperations in different areas of Srinagar and Poonch districts. Indianforces launched a cordon and search operation in Shangus area of Islamabaddistrict, today, causing immense inconvenience to the local people.
