ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s NESPAK has been awarded mega road andinfrastructure projects in Middle East.
The mega project to be executed in the Sultanate of Oman, enabling aPakistani engineering firm to generate handsome foreign exchange for thecountry by exporting its expert consultancy services.
As per details, the Ministry of Transport and Communication, Oman, hasawarded a consultancy services contract to NESPAK for the design of a MainHighway/Expressway connecting Thumrait Interchange with Mubaila Interchangeon the Muscat Expressway.
As consultants, NESPAK will design major components of the projectcomprising a dual carriageway main road dual carriageway link, fiveinterchanges, five bridges, six vehicular underpasses/overpasses and twopedestrian underpasses/overpasses.
Conceived as all-weather roads, the arteries will be designed along withall necessary drainage structures, including the provision of culverts andwadi bridges. The client has stipulated an 8-month timeframe for thecompletion of the design job.
Besides, the Ministry of Transport and Communication, Oman, has awardedconstruction supervision of road connecting al Wajaja (Wilayat Al Shinas)with Al Fai (Wilayat Al Mahdha).
