PM Imran Khan likely to take key decisions over Sindh government

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has expressed serious concernsover the political scenario in the Sindh

PM Khan in a telephonic conversation on Saturday, spoke to Grand DemocraticAlliance’s (GDA) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Sardar Ali Gohar Maharregarding current political situation in the country.

According to PTI’s spokesperson, the PM expressed concerns over theuncertain political scenario in Sindh and accepted Mahar’s invitation tovisit Ghotki.

Moreover, the PM is expected to hold key meetings with influentialpoliticians in Sindh.

On the other hand, special assistant to PM Iftikhar Durrani said that achange of leadership in Sindh was inevitable, stressing the need for ‘a newchief minister’ who was not under investigation.

“The provincial government of Sindh was used to launder money, and MuradAli Shah acted as the facilitator to money launderers and the Zardari Groupwhile he was the chief minister and finance minister,” he remarked.
